Hey guys,

I just picked up the check at the bank for my own Mobile Dyno!! Now BamaChips has our own DynoJet 224x mobile dyno. It's on a 24" long trailor and is about 2-3 ft off the ground, it isn't one of the huge dynojet's with the ramp that puts the car above your head, those things always scared me that the car would shoot off the end .

I'm sure some of you have already seen if not been on the unit I'm purchasing, it is VMP's dyno that has been at most of the FFW events. They are building a new setup and I'm buying their old one. This dyno has been used to help develope alot of the SCT tunes and while I have it will enhance my own even further.

Just thought I'd let you know, now what event could I bring it to, maybe Barber's??? Dont know if I'd have anyone show up?

Glad to hear it went through, I guess we know what the "Batmobile" will be getting tuned on when I install the intercooler--hey you can just bring it to the house, then we can scare the Neighbors.

What you need to do is make a list every once in a while of where people will show up. Say if 10 people are willing to put down a deposit to come to a certain location, then drive down there with the dyno and everyone comes to you.

I'd be in for sure if you came to Texas, preferable Western but the Dallas or Lubbock/Amarillo area would be fine.

As for dynodays, certainly! 8-10 guys or about 5-7 Supercharged guys. Evenless if they are interested in purchasing tuners.

we have a major event down here in south texas that you can go to...we have alot of old school stangs from mexico and other parts of texas....later we will be making a bigger event

 

Heck yeah!! I'm in upstate NY and I know of a handful of guys that would be down for that as well!! Burgers are on me!!

 

Hmm, my wife loves the falls outside Buffalo how close are you guys to that? As for Texas, I'm always looking for somewhere new I guess? 20 guys would consitute 2 days but I can do it. The biggest thing is I would need a place to be able to setup without any problems, something concrete or paved. A driveway or parking lot would be fine as long as its Ok with the owner's, and maybe even the neighbors.

I could see a large bonfire with a car on the otherside on a dyno, ahhahaaa...

Maybe setup with some local car shows. Lots of potential clients, plenty of room and a butt load of advertising. We have several large ones throughout the year in my area, and I am sure that others have the same going on.

 

All the Texas guys could meet in Dallas and since I already see two other Texas guys asking I'd like to be third in line on the dyno. Come on Doug.

 

Glad to see business is picking enough for your to make a huge capital investment like that. If you ever make it up to anywhere in New England, I'm going to be the first person in line.
