BamaChips CAI and tune

So I have been bombarding Doug at Bamachips with emails asking him questions about CAI kits. His customer service has been great and I am almost ready to place an order.

I am having trouble deciding between the JLT and the C&L. ANyone have any thoughts on what they have and which is better?

Thanks

i personally like the JLT but both are good kits...i like the JLT for simplicity while the C&L is more aggressive...on the other hand you can always repaint the JLT

Jlt And Doug Are Great

JLT and Doug are a fantastic combo. JLT was easy to install and looks great.

Dougs tunes are awsome I tried the 89 torque first and was impressed, then tried the 93 race. All I can say is wow once you try it you will never want to go back

Like a new car, I just smile everytime I get on the gas.

I have the JLT II. I too was debating between the two. At the time, the price of the C&L was $200 more while performance gains were the same. It was an easy choice for me. And +1 on dougs race tune. Can't wait to get back to the track tomorrow.

If you buy the C&L over the JLT in my opinion you are wasting money.

+1 for the JLT with SCT II from doug. just make sure you allow for about 2+ weeks till you get it if you want the tubelet matched to your color car. real easy install just make sure you have a T20 Torx Wrench and you will be fine.

sanctus, thanks for the T20 Torx advice. I too am patiently awaiting the JLT/SCT II from Bama, and wondered if I would need any special tools. Yep, Torx is special to me!

After much debate, I too order the the JLT/sct combo!!!! Didn't want to spend the money, wanted to see if the GMS system would pan out. Now I'm very glad I went with this combo
