BAMA and C&l WOW

Just installed the C&L street with Doug's 87 Tune? I could not believe the difference. I had just installed a 3.73 gear and the tune woke it UP. I know the Gas and Tire dealer will be glad to see me. now it will bark 2nd and 3rd. (auto) I have 255-45-18 Kumhos on 18x9 bullitts. thanks Doug for a fine TUNE.

Is that the race tune? You gotta love it. I love the sound the C&L makes when you stomp on it!

a suggestion is to run a couple 1/4 tanks of 93 octane to near empty before running the 93 octane tune.

oh, if you love his performance tune, wait til you run his race tune... if you got it.

oh, and you gotta update your sig.

Ed I know exactly what you are saying I also have the BAMA 93 race tune installed with the C&L Street CAI and I just can't help but light the tires up every chance I get. I'll need to rotate every 1000 miles and then I see a new set of tire just on the horizon and I only have 600 miles on the GT

The Bama Tune tire rotation schedual is every 2000 miles or 50 burnouts... Whichever comes first!

That's halirious!!! I'm also a Race Tune / smoke the tires advacate. Hit 3 grand, dump the clutch, boil in 1st, hang on in second (preferably a parking lot), so you don't end up in the ditch.

Load the race tune, don't look back!!!

Hey guys, I am definately getting this set up. I have heard so many great things about it. I have one question that has not been addressed.

How is the idle with the 93 race tune? I have to sit in stop and go traffic every morning to get onto the base and I want to make sure that I'm not looking like a meathead because the idle is rough.

Thanks, I have a manual GT.

Like John said same as stock. No difference, like 750 or 800 (for my manual)

just curious what the three base tunes recommended are. I was going for 87P, 93P, 93T....which 93 should be swapped for a race?

the 93 performance... there is not too much difference between the race and the performance.
