I have to post this up .In the last 2yrs I have bought 7 or 8 tune files from Doug. I sent him a E-mail 2 days ago that I needed a nitrous tune told him it was for a 100 shot thats it.Today I got tune file,I sent an E-Mail back asking how to pay him but I havn't heard back.I think I got a freebee. I think everyone that is posting that they might have a problem with his tunes should give him a few days to answer first .

I assume Doug is just swamped by the sheer number of emails he receives and tunes he produces. He sometimes takes a day or two to respond but he has always responded to my emails.

Look, I bought a tune from Doug some time back. And whenever I had problem or a question I have e-mailed Doug and has answered in a timely manner. And quite frankly I am sick and tired of people calling him out on this forum and never giving him chance to take care of it. And I'm willing to bet most of the time, it really isn't a issue or it's a user problem. So I thank you for having his back, because I do.

Doug is the best. Hands down. I have tried other tunes from other tuners in my automatic and none are as fast on the track as Doug's!

 

If you already have one of his tunes and upgrade to NOS or delete plates, ect he has usually not charged or only charged a very modest fee.

Doug is great and sometimes too generous IMO but thats why we love him here. I mean that in a MANLY, DRAG RACING, FOOTBALL PLAYING, BEER DRINKING kinda way! just for those of you that were thinking something else.

 

No issues with Doug and he is my #1 tuner, I am pretty sure once you buy a tune he will send you a free upgrade if you add a mod.

Okay, now I'm curious....who is Doug, and how do his tunes compare with the C&L/preditor tunes?

 

I never asked for him to mod my tunes I would just buy new ones.Plus I went threw 3 diffrent intakes so I just bought new tunes.

 

I think Doug is able to serve his customers better lately because he has a NEW assistant, my son Alex! Him and Alex have been real busy lately and they strive for 100% customer satisfaction! So Doug has gone from a one man operation to a 1 and 1/2 man operation to better serve the "Need for Speed"!!

 

That's great. I've been thinking for a while a guy that is smart enough to come up with such good tunes should be smart enough to know when it's time to expand. He definently needs the help that's for sure.

 

Been running a Bama Tune for almost 2 years now with no complaints. He's updated and tweaked my tunes more times than I can count. I send him an email and within a day or two I've got the new tune files free of charge. Plus I've talked to him numerous times over the phone and he's been more than willing to break things down in laymans terms for me.

I'm running his tunes as well, car runs excellent! I'm very pleased with how quickly I got the files when I placed my order. It took a few days, but that was no problem for me. Another happy customer.

I just purchased 3 tunes from Doug - 87 Perf, 91 Torq and 91 Race for my DeMolet Tunable Induction CAI - and I could not be happier. I ran the 87 Perf until I ran the tank dry and filled up with 91. I ran the 91 Torq for a day and swapped in the 91 Race today. I love his Race tune!

The Perf tune really firmed up shifts and seemed to make the car fly. The Torq tune added a whole bunch of low end punch. The Race tune seems to combine the best of both. I can't beleive the way my automatic runs now. Every shift throws you back in your seat. Off the line this thing just burns rubber for about 10-15 feet then grabs hold and you're off like a rocket, the 1-2 shift burns another few feet of rubber and the 2-3 puts out a real nice chirp. I can't stop smiling.
