There is probably one thing about the Mustang that pains me, and it is the brakes. I do not feel that they slow the car fast enough and I would like to remedy this situation.

I did some searching on the Baer website and found that they make new rotors for the Mustang called Eradispeed. I did some additional searching and they are like $550 a pair, kinda steep.

I was wondering if anyone has these, or knows anything about them.

Disclaimer: I know zip about aftermarket brakes! Aren't those "slotted and drilled" rotors? If I remember correctly I thought drilled rotors weren't recommended for performance cars because they cracked more easily.

Sorry I can't give input on this particular product but I can tell you that for that price I would consider a full brake upgrade before just changing rotors. As for the Baer product line they have nice stuff but when I spoke to Scott Hoag in Tulsa he informed me that he has some difficulty with them not keeping up with supply and demand and they can delay product shipment up to months. MRT has Baer products as well as other options for brakes if you are truly interested I would suggest what Scott has installed on the MRT Interceptor.

first off drilled rotors do have a higher likelyhood to crack but they are great for letting the brake pad gasses escape and cooling. Slotted rotors also help with the cooling and escape of the gas. I would not say one is better or worse sine manufactures like ferrari and porsh use both types on their cars. The biggest difference you can get in braking will come from the brake pads and tires. I would recommend getting HP+ pads and i think you will be more then happy. If you spend $550 on rotors and dont change the pads you will likely feel no difference. Buy the pads they are sold from http://www.maximummotorsports.com/hawk2005.asp i gaurentee it will be what you are looking for, and if you want to go all the way get www.stoptech.com big brake kit http://maximummotorsports.com/stechbigkit2005.asp , they are the best on the market for making front big brake kits that are perfectly balanced for their applications. For out 2005-06 Mustangs the kit comes with 14" 2 peice rotors and hats, with 4 pistion calipers.
