SCROLL DOWN FOR INSTALLATION PICS, VIDS AND REVIEW!
Just received my B&M Ripper Shorty Shifter. Looks fantastic and looks like its going to be fairly simple installation! Its in 2 pieces, so thats why there is no need to drop the driveshaft! Here are some of the out of the box photos. I'll be sure to share some installation photo's on sunday!

Do you need to reuse the stock bushings with this set-up? I don't see any new ones. Duh.... Saw the answer in the next post about these.... Did ya order the Steeda bushings also? Put it all in at once.

Yes, you reuse the stock bushings.

This being in 2 pieces is not going to help you any more than the one piece shifters. The difficulty is in the rear mounting area. That is the part that barely fits through. You'll see. I actually think you might have a harder time than I did since the B&M has such a big mounting area.
Not trying to jinx you man! Sorry! I hope all goes well, no need to pay to have someone else install it. You should be able to install it yourself. But a buddy to guide the shifter down while your under the car will certainly help.
Make sure to post installed pics and your overall impression.
EDIT: I just looked at your pictures again. You will definately have an easier time getting it through! The shifter handle was there which made the rear barely fit. Yours will slide right through. I stand corrected!

Here is a Stock Throw Video B4 the Installation!!
Stock Throw <<<<VIDEO<<<<
And here are the installation photo's!! Installation was a breeze, had "Cheese302" assist me with installing it and it went fantastic, scroll down for photos & the shifter in Action Vids!!
Here is a Vid of the Throw!!
B&M Short Throw <<<<VIDEO<<<<
And here is a short clip of it in driving action!
B&M Shifter Action <<<<VIDEO<<<<
Sorry it, was a little hard to hold the camera and drive at the same time, especially driving manual.
**VIDEO FIXED, NO MORE CHOPPY**
*OVERALL*
Another Bang for the buck!!! Def a much shorter throw than the stock sifter. Much more firm, stiffer and snugs right into gear everytime, EVEN 3rd Gear!! Very Very Pleased with the design and the easy installation. I've felt the Steeda Tri-Ax from a forum member at the track and this Shifter feels almost exactly like it, but has a more sportier look and feel to it! It also raised the shifter a good 1 Inch., and has a more comfortable feel with it. Overrall, VERY VERY PLEASED!!!

well after "helping" install the shifter, i must say that this installation seems easier than the hurst shifter.. because of the shifter being in two pieces the plate can be installed from underneath the car. This means the shifter pass through does not need to happen. the shifter feels awesome and install was a breeze. too bad paul had a fire call while i was in the proccess of putting the car back on the ground.
btw thats my 1969 boss 302 in the one picture.

Anyways jeg's has it for $232.99 with free shipping, I looked the other day. For that price I bought the steeda tri-ax for $45 more.

so why didnt you drive back over to my house? i could really go for going t a ride in that, i had a line for rides in the boss later on...
that would be a fair trade, get your shifter installed, get a ride in the 75th rarest mustang of all time, and in return a short ride in the 05 for a friend!!! lol
but at least i got a nifty t-shirt, good times as always man. your lucky i love working on cars.

Yes, as dustin just posted, i bought it from Jegs and I was amazed at all the stuff Jegs sent me! Catalog, Decals, everything! I acutally payed $240, cause there is a $10 handling service charge. Overall, I'm very very pleased!
