Regarding Bassani, I had a set before I bought my Corsas last spring. Overall, I thought they sounded pretty good with the factory H pipe; however I did not like them with my offroad H. I strongly prefer both the Corsas and the Borlas with the o/r H- the Bassanis trumpeted badly with the offroad pipe. They did have slight drone with the factory H; less than the Borlas.

Hmmm....why is chosing a good sounding exhaust so hard? I have Magnaflows with an OR X-Pipe right now and it sounds good, but the Magnaflows quiet down the exhaust. On a stock car, I've read the Magnaflows aren't any louder than the OEM mufflers , but are a bit deeper. If the GTA's are a bit louder than stock and deeper, that might be the ticket.

Mine do for sure!

Your right it can be frustrating I can relate as you can see in previous posts I am on my third set I noticed you said your running a X pipe ! Go to the Shelby GTH threads theres a post and video sound bite of the GTH the GTH runs the Xpipe its not OR but should give you an idea of what the GTA's sound like with your set-up because thats the Shelby-GTH set up and the 2007 Shelby GT's GTA's with an X pipe!

For anyone interested in a Corsa system, PM me because I may sell mine. It will give you NO DRONE but still plenty of volume at WOT.

Thanks all.
Sounds like the Magnaflows to me. A little louder than stock with little to no drone.

I would like to know that too. Right now I am torn between the normal Bassanis and GTA's.

Had Flowmasters and they sounded great but despite what many say there IS noticable drone. Especially when you hit a certain point in the RPM range it's VERY noticable. Now is it intolerable?? I don't think so and from what I understand it's pretty darn mild compared to many others... Borla, SLP, Magnaflow, ETC.

But I now have Corsas. I LOVE them... I would never ever go back to the Flows. Not because I didn't like the Flows... I did... but the Corsas have ZERO drone. None...

So if you want no drone and an awesome sound go with the Corsas. If you don't mind some drone then the Flows will do just fine.

What about GMS system? They say no drone. I've been thinking of going that route.

So I've narrowed it down to Magnaflows or GTA's.

What do you all think the differences are?
