I have tried 3 different automatic tunes so for. Up to now my farvorite is Lidio's from Alternative Auto. However, I have not tried Doug's latest creation yet. I plan on sending him my tuner in the next few weeks to get his lastest. We all have our favorites but I am a firm believer in trying all of them and making a fair judgement of what I consider "BEST"

Thank you...I guess I have a hard time listening to others that say "this guy has the best tunes" when it is the only tune they have tried. I just sent Doug@Bama another email so I can send him my tuner to have his latest auto tune loaded. Then and only then can I say somebodies tune is the "best"
So STD....does this mean you are presently married to a redhead??
I thought that picture of your from Oregon looked like you had bags under your eyes.Scott

I'll give you my 2 cents worth...I prefer Doug's tunes over all. I have tried two others and they were really good. It is all a matter of preference of how you like your car to drive. If you want the feel of a stick shift then go with Doug. His tunes run the rpm's up a little higher in 1st and 2nd. The others don't do that (at least the other two that I have).
By the way the other two I have tried were VMP and Brenspeed which I received very good service with as well and their tunes are just as good for performance they just feel different on the shift patterns.
I do still switch back and forth between different tunes when I get bored with the feel of them.
My best advice is get the tuner and CAI and try out a couple different tuners. It is only gonna cost a couple hundred dollars at the most and it is the only way to find out what you will like in a tune.

With your antisipated mods you should expect between 25-30 at the rear wheels running a 93 octane tune. You will love it.
And this is with any of the listed guys tunes!! Scott
...When i had my '05 auto...i tried Lidios...and it was great..very nasty shifts...I then tried Dougs. I liked Dougs better...it was just a better shift schedule to me..and i noticed no power difference between the two tuners...both had my my car getting rubber in third gear. At the time Lidios tune made me feel like i was gonna break something...lol Dougs was great...i actually liked my auto with 93 race tune better than my Stick with the same tune...my auto felt stronger to me somehow...maybe just had a better motor in that one...who knows.

Here's my totally subjective input...
I have Brenspeed's and Doug's Torq tune (on my manual, sorry). They're both very good but quite different, and I sometimes switch between them. I really like the low end on Doug's tune, Brenspeed feels like I lost some low-end compared to stock. My car also sounds 10x better with Doug's tune. Brenspeed's tune is very smooth, almost too smooth, Bamachips Torq tune is an animal in comparison, the car feels more fun to drive with the Torq tune.
