Anyone running an auto trans with an O/R pipe?
Anyone running an auto trans with an O/R pipe?
I've been thinking about getting an O/R X or H to go with my Borla Stingers (stock headers) since I really like the sound of that combo but I've yet to hear them on a auto trans car and I'm wondering how they sound and if you like them or not? If you have a sound clip that would be great!
I dont have a sound clip but i can tell you that i have pypes o/r h with borla tips an my car is auto an its sounds soo ****ing good. if you want a really deep loud sound then that is what this is gonna give you. i wouldnt get X bc i heard that its to raspy, so I would say go with the H an I think you will be happy with that.
what 07tung said the x produces more of a raspy sound while the h is more deep...... anyway you decide to go it will sound killer..... have you ever looked into flowmasters and a of road h pipe?

Yes, but I really like the sound of my stingers and I love the sound of the stingers & O/R H pipe sound clips I've hear but just wanted to know how they were on an auto trans car.

I have an O/R H with my Borla Stingers and they trumpet SO bad, it sounds terrible. I suggest ordering a pair of resonators along with O/R pipe, it'll get rid of the trumpeting and some of the drone.
Without the trumpeting it sounds great, but honestly autos with loud exhaust doesn't sound that great.

Right on, been running that combo for over a year now, still lovin' it.
