I was just curious if anyone was intrested in doing a group buy for BBR's Off-Road X-pipe.

I know Chris was saying that if enough people order them at once he'll cut a great price. I was just curious if anyone wants one.

I know I would get one if I didn't have the long tubes on my car.

post up if you're intrested.

i might be interested - but i need to know the materials. At that price, i'm guessing it's aluminized steel, right? where i'm from, it'd HAVE to be stainless.

let me know if you know any details. also, do you know if there are any sound clips kicking around of it?

thanks,
kris

I am in the market for an off-road x-pipe. But, I think I'm gonna get the Magnaflow. Maybe if you get more info on materials and possibly a sound clip, I'd go in with you.

How much is it, and do you have a pic or link?

I am interested at that price. Where can I find more information on their x-pipes? What kind of deal will they offer if we get X amount of people?

Unfortunately their website is still under construction so you just have to PM them on Corral.

I asked about the materials and the answer was: "We have aluninized as well as Stainless Steel". My guess is that the $220 retail is for the aluminized steel and the stainless is a bit more. I'd be curious to see what the group buy prices are for both, and to see if we can get a sound clip.

cheers,
kris

Check out the MAK Performance one...i think it is the same pipe...only you can get the MAK for 199.00! I have a picture posted of it ! I ordered mine from Mak...it is lighter than stainless, same power/torque increase as others, and it goes together easier than Bassani,or Magnaflow..and it will last a long time. I live in Upstate N.Y....we get winter for like 8 months,or it least it seems that way. They use alot of salt on the roads. All the cars i had before, had aluminzed exhaust on them...and they held up great!

just E-mail Chris Jones at BlowByRaceing@aol.com

let him know you are on the mustang source and that I told you about it and he'll get you a great price on the X-pipe.

As far as I know, he is still working out the details for the group buy.
