Anyone here using SCT 87 octane tune w/ stock air inlet and intact CMCV/IMRC?
If so, are you hearing any pinging or detonation?

Only half of what you are looking for, but I am using an 87 octane Diablo tune with factory airbox and charge motion plates. When I run 87 octane fuel in warm weather, yes I get detonation. I always run 89 octane. I'm hoping to rectify all of this when Doug is able to deliver his Diablo tunes. It has been something that always perplexed me. I'm assuming this is perplexing you as well.

I'm not running any tune at the moment, but if I were to flash the PCM, I'd go with an 87 octane tune for a number of reasons that probably aren't popular here at TMS.
