Does anyone drive Nitto NT450 tires 275mm wide in rain? How do they compare against stock Pirelli's? thanks.

I have had Nitto450s on my car since mid-May... but it hasn't rained in San Diego since then, except once while I was at work. When I drove it home that day, it wasn't raining, but the roads were wet. It seemed a little touchy a couple times when cornering, but the roads are also very slick after the first rain in 3 or 4 months (plus I have 4.10s).

I'd be more interested in the hydro-planing properties

Well, even though I live in the dryest climate in N. America, we actually had substantial rain last year and I got to drive my car in it quite a bit.

Now I have the 255 NT450's, but I was pleased as punch with their performance and no problems with hydroplaning. It never felt skittish in the least
