I am a little unsure about buying on ebay but they show to have a positive feed back. Best price I have seen so far. Any thoughts or experiences? Even better if you have with these guys in particiluar.

I bought almost all of the parts I needed to make my Saleen Clone using EBAY. I had no problems however all of the listings were from major parts companies like AMP, Hilibank and etc... but I got much better prices than were listed in the magazines.
I buy from ebay a lot from ebay I always make sure of good feedback first. That auction your looking at has over 20k feedback I would trust them. I have had a problem or two buying stuff alway had ebay and or paypal make it right for me. They protect the buyer very well from what I have seen.
Some of the items I have brought on eBay in the last month:
Pro 5.0 Shifter new in the box $225
Tein H Lower springs new in the box $68
Tokico D-Spec Structs new in the box $444
40th Annivsery Mustang Jacket new $75
All have arrived and are as stated new.
Use a CC and you will have no problems

Like others mentioned, just make sure the feedback is good (I consider 95% and over good). eBay and PayPal will usually protect you.
And just look at the listing, most of the time it's the frauds that won't put half the time towards making the item description. So make sure you read the item description completely.
And if you are buying from a private buyer, make sure that there are pictures and that they are correct.

i bought my 2000 GT off ebay the only thing i can say is make sure you check their feedback and i had some problems with ghost bidders and i believe it was the person trying to up the price. but other than that i have always had good luck with ebay and really enjoy my stang
I'm intrested about these springs too... but there's lot of fake Teins out there... (I don't say these are), but check your springs according to this link

definatley use a CC! I made the mistake of using a debit card and then had an issue with a seller, eventually it worked itself out. I have bought 4 different products from ebay, and really this was my only issue.
I have hundreds of feedbacks on ebay from buying and selling and I would advise to walk away from that seller. WAY too many negatives in a single month.
Spend a few bucks more somewhere else in this case.
Good Luck
Good Luck
ebay has been very good to me. only had 2 problems, one I bought the manual on DVD which was a POS ended up wasting 50 bucks and another was a video game for xbox and I payed 30 bucks for it and the video game box was literally broke, and the seller never stated that. i've had incidents where I won the auction and never go the product, but the sellers were kind enough to refund my money with no problems.
i just recently bought my F/P and BOOST Gauges off ebay for great prices, and they showed up with no problems!
be on the look out with people who have had negatives within the past 6months to a year, if there are a bunch, then do not buy from that person, if they have like one or too, it shouldn't be too bad.

EBAY has been good to me. I had bought this Cadillac in 2003 and it has been my biggest problem so far.

In general I would have say very good results with e-bay merchants. One thing I would do is set up a PAY PAL account to charge to.That way merchants don't get direct access to you credit card number.By the way Pay-Pal is owned by e-bay.
When looking at the rating, don't just look at how big the number is. A fraudulent seller could artificially inflate their positive feedbacks over time. Rather, look at only the negative feedback, and make sure there aren't too many really bad ones. I have 200+ ebay buyer/seller (mostly buyer) transactions, and only maybe 1 or 2 small problems.
+1. Just make sure the buyers feedback rating is good and they haven't had too many negative hits, especially recently. Definately use paypal only. It's just the safest and smrtest way to go. Ebay is a good service though, I have bought two jeeps off ebay and numerous other smaller items and only had a problem once but that was my fault for not using paypal. Basically, just use good judgement and make sure you're money is protected. As in the real world, Ebay has its fair share of sharks too!
