Anyone have to drill for CHE k-member brace?

I ponied up for the CHE k-member brace and torque limiters, went to install it this weekend and realized the mounting holes required were not there. Apparently with the early production 05's the holes are not present, and my car was delivered in Oct of 05.

The instructions state that the holes can be drilled, just how much of a pain in the *** is it going to be to drill the frame rail. Can I even do this with a simple 14,4v drill and the proper bit?

I have shot CHE 2 e-mails with no response yet asking them the same questions, so I thought I'd throw it out here and see if you guys have any experience with this.

Hmmm...is that a typo? Shouldn't it be Oct of 04?
I got mine in Nov/04 and will be picking up my CHE brace on Saturday...I might be in the same boat as you!

I would expect a 14.4v drill with a full charge and a nice new sharp bit should be able to get the job done no problem. Driving 4" x 5/16" lag screws might be a different story! What size does the hole have to be?
