Anyone have any info on using the copperhead PCM?
I was told that some had switched out the old PCM and put in Ford's newer copperhead instead in our cars.
I can't find any info, though. I wanted to find out more about the compatibility of the rest of the car's modules with the copperhead. Apparently on AllFordMustang forum there was a thread about it long ago, but it is no longer available.
Any info?
Also, typo in the title. Should be 'using' and not 'suing'. Can a mod fix that?
Cheers

When I visited Matt, he was thinking of flashing my PCM to copperhead FW. We didn't do that because I forgot my second key. It is also unsure how the O2 sensors would be handled.
I probably have no issues with the rest of the modules, as they are the same as 2011+ except the ABS, which needs to be swapped, too. And while doing that, EPAS needs to be added.
Reason: our PCMs talk GDS with the ABS, Copperhead talks GGDS. Therefor the ABS can't communicate anymore. The newer ABS modules however, get the Steering Wheel position over the CAN bus from EPAS, instead of the steering wheel position sensor mounted on the steering shaft.
Once Matt is back online, I need to chat with him about getting a second (spare) 2010 PCM, flash that to Copperhead and try it out.
