Even though it probably looks better than it runs (and who wants to be changing out points, etc) it sparks the imagination...is there a Ford alloy V-8 engine that has serious displacement, that we could "affordably" drop into an S197? A new version of the 351 or 427....there is no replacement for displacement...

You can get an aluminum 428 block for around 5K.
