Talking

Well I did it again-

One word...BASSANI!

This is the exhaust sound I have been looking for. There are many reasons I love this system over the previous ones.

1. performance
2. sound - nice and loud
3. minimal drone
4. did I say sound?

Man this setup kicks butt. The curretn system is a Bassani X-pipe with cats and Bassani axlebacks.

Check out the video...Bassani Video

Another fun video...Stretch'n Her Legs

Omg I think I am never going to decide on an exhaust system. CRAP this sounds AWESOME...

Which is louder and deeper though? Your current Bassani setup with axlebacks and x pipe OR a Borla Catback???

Very nice setup jay

I watched the video. The borla system is definately deeper and throatier by far. The bassani is a different sound altogether. Higher pitched and what can best be described as "gargaly"

Think of borlas as having the "BASS" up really high with the "TREBLE" very low.

Though you can't really tell though the video, I'd be willing to bet that the Borla system is still at least a bit louder than the Bassani with headers.

Based on what pete told us, it is quite a bit louder than the Magnapacks with headers (i believe). That says a lot.

Headers? I don't think he has headers?

Although, Bassani X-pipe w/highflow cats and Borlas..... hmmmm...

I've heard this Bassani setup in person, it is a TRUE muscle car sound... it is definitely mean.

As a side note, did you just get yelled at by your wife for smoking the tires?

Yeah, Iwas going to do a third bournout but was reluctant after her comment. So I thought it would be funny to include it in the video.

It was all in good fun. We actually had a crowd watching us tape. My wife really enjoyed it.

Thanks for all the comments!

Sorry, you're right, he has the Bassani X-Pipe. Regardless, that will make it louder.

Just curious what this setup cost ya and where you got it from. I have found the Bassani mufflers for like 749!!! is this high?? Also did you do the install of the X pipe and cats yourself? Did they line up pretty easy? Thanks and sorry for all the questions!

I bought the x-pipe from Nino Sport at a great price. As far as the axlebacks go. Yes $749 is way too expensive. I bought mine from a member here on the forum; however, before that I was finding them for around $449-$499.
Check around because most have free shipping.

As far as installing the x-pipe, I had some help on them (which I'm glad I did) because it is much easier to have a lift to adjust everything right. As far as the axlebacks- a good set of jack stands and some minimal mechanics knowledge will get you going in your driveway.

Wow Jay! Those sound bad. I loved that burnout. Best manual burnout on this site for sure!!! I have the flowmasters. I have a video of it, but I don't know how to post them. Or even resize them.

Thanks for the vids, those sound pretty good. But, in all honesty, I must say I still like the loudmouths much better. And my wife likes doing burnouts as much as I do. hehe
