I just ordered the JLT & X2 from Doug at Bamachips. Doug is the man! His service is exceptional. I gave him a call and he answered all of my questions and emails promptly. Anyone have any installation advice for me? I'm kind of a newbie when it comes to modding. I have the post-order syndrome when you think you should be saving cash instead of goods for the car! I hope I'm as satisfied as everyone else.

I'm definitely considering a JLT and his tune for my first mod. Let us know how things work out!

(and yes, I hear ya about the post-order syndrome thing...happens all the time )

I'll let you know how everything turns out. I just heard too many good things to resist. This is the last thing for a while for me, at least I hope I can control myself

Does anyone know if I needed to request the torque and peformance tune on the website? I just left them blank assuming that's what Doug gives you. I stated 93 Octane on the order. Thanks!

You should be fine leaving those field blank, if you are unsure call him. I got my JLT and SCT last week from him, I enjoy the 30 mile drive to work again now. You will be happy with it.

with every tune, he'll give you an 87 (with your mods), and your octane PERFORMANCE and your octane TORQUE (ie. 93 Performance or 93 Torque tunes).
Those are the three taht he includes with the X-2. I just got mine last week, but I didn't get to enjoy it all but for a day... had to take the car to the shop to get the Cali Dream hood painted! is like getting a new car!

I'm getting mine tomorrow. Driving up to Birmingham to have Doug tune it on the dyno. Either going with the DeMolet Tunable Induction CAI or the Airaid CAI.

Excited and nervous at the same time!

Ok thanks everyone. I just assumed he gave you the torque and peformance tunes so I just left the fields blank, but I did specify that I can use 93 octane. I can't wait! Sounds like the beast will be a new ride soon!

My only problem with Doug is that I wish he was closer to do "hands on" work on my car. One point, the directions I got said you had to remove a couple of the fuses before flashing which is not the case with the 05/06's. They (directions) may have been changed by now.

I spoke with Doug on the phone and he said you don't have to remove anything that it says in the directions so it should be pretty easy I hope. Thanks for the heads up though!

Those with Dougs 93 Perf and TQ tunes can you feel the difference between the two and if you can what is the difference? Which one do you prefer for the street? Thanks

the torque feels better overall.

however, the performance tune is noticeably stronger in the high RPM.

I just got my jlt and tuner today. I installed the Pypes off road H with the flows yesterday. The car sounds bad hiney! I've already went through a half tank of gas. I can't keep my foot off the thing!
Gas prices are high but I don't realy care right now, I'm having to much fun.
Thanks Doug!

Go get your car dyno'd. My 93 torque tune fron Doug was pretty much on the money, even I'd say a little safe. The 93 Performance was way off though. Every car is a little different. Doug took the time to fix my tunes after I showed him the graphs. This is where the service side of Doug shines.

Don't be nervous. I consider the CAI and Dougs tunes to be the best money spent to date. I would give anything to live close enough to let him custom tune my car. You are lucky my friend. Good luck!!

I installed my CAI/tune along with FRPP mufflers on Thursday night. This car is a totally different beast.

Doug is the man. You will not be let down.

I can't wait to get the goodies from Doug! How is the throttle response now? I have a feeling I'm going to burn a couple tanks of gas the day of the install.
