Amsoil dry filter for C&L

Does anyone know which Amsoil filter will replace the C&L street (83mm) CAI filter?

I had one.. but I cannot for the life of me find the receipt for it. I sold it with the C&L when I bought the blower.

I do know that the closest one they carry is still about a 1/2" - 3/4" too long and you have to trim the base a little. Don't worry though, as the part you trim ends up under the heat shield and is barely visible.

I have one, it's seems to be a very well made filter, blue paper elemant with a chrome ring for the cap.
The amsoil filter is 9" inches in height as opposed to 8" for the S&B filter that came with the C&L.
I can't get the amsoil to fit without hitting the inner fender. I never thought about trimming the base.
I believe the Amsoil part number is EAAU4090.

Thanks, but I think the racer and street versions have different dimensions (95 vs. 83mm openings)

Yeah I knew that I just didn't think there was a huge difference.... But 95 vs. 83 is quite a difference.

The filter you want is: EaAU4090

i ordered the EaAU4070 - It's only 7" long and a smaller 4" tip at the top instead of 5". This should allow for better clearance. I'll keep everyone updated.

>>>EAAU4090<<<

that is the 4090
the metal would sometimes touch the body, I adjusted the intake so it wouldn't, just point it upward a little.

Here's mine. Don't mind the dirty engine bay. Clearance was awesome on this filter. The stock C&L filter was damaged from hitting the heat shield on one side.

BTW, I didn't get a sticker.
