THe install went fairly smooth with the exception of fighting a bracket due to the close quarters when putting the bolts back in. But they sound great and no drone so far. Put about 100 miles on them last night.

No way to record a clip right now. I got them from a local performance shop. One man operation but they have access to almsot anything. They cater to the local raceway (Late Model Stock) and he has a pretty loyal following. Took less than a day for him to get them.

These muflers definately open up more with time. Once they break-in, you'll know what I mean. Way better than Magnaflows IMO. I set off my neighbors alarm backing into my parking space!!

hahaha i did that at the mall parking lot the other day, drove through the lots, and must of set off like 6 different car alarms, they were all rice burners, must of had the very very sensitive viper system, hehe, it was great. As i told one of the guys on the forum. I also came up to another guy on a 4 lane highway at a light with an 05 Mustang GT and he said, "NICE CAR MAN!!" And reved his stock exhaust, and I said, thank you!! and then reved my Flowmasters, and his jaw literally dropped and was like, "WHAT THE F-word YOU GOT ON THAT THING????" i laughed and said, Flowmasters baby!!!! hahaha I think I made his day........but it was great!

Yes, these flowmasters are great. I love them! I've set off a few alarms myself...just set one off today in the Target parking lot . And yes, they will get louder as the time passes.

How would Flowmasters "break-in"? Inside the muffler its nothing but steel plates, whats there to break-in?

A packed muffler (Bassani, Magnaflow, Borla) do have break-in periods becasue they have oils that are burned off with heat over time and they become louder. I don't see how this could apply to a chamber style Flowmaster...

Ditto. I have no idea why they get louder. They don't go from loud to "oh my gosh, I can't hear you" loud, but there is definitely noticeable increase.
