Alum Driveshafts, Ultimate vs. Spyder vs. Coastline

I have seen many threads on the aluminum driveshafts, all look good to me, but with varying prices which one is best?
Ulitmate @ $859 with upper control arm and safety loop included.
Spyder @ $479
Coastline @ $589

Weight looks about the same, performance should be the same, Installation again the same, Why the diff in price
Looking to be in the market in the next few weeks but with $380 between the high and low .....

Haven't heard too much feedback on the Ultimate nor Coastline.
Everyone who has bought the Spydershaft have only great things to say about it. I currently have a Denny's, but will be swapping it out for a Spydershaft soon.

Mark me down as a Spydershaft man. 1 month and no problems

$479 and $100 for a safety loop (lakewood model not recommended)

There are alot of people around here running the Coast Driveline Aluminum Driveshaft with no issues. We've sold tons, and had no complaints except UPS!

Powerhouse aluminum driveshaft for over a year and never an issue.
The thing to consider is whether you want to change the pinion flange or use an adapter.

+1... I love my Powerhouse; it's been perfect from day 1.

But... if I was looking to buy one today, I would go with the Spydershaft.

It's like any other product. There are differences in manufacturing costs etc. and ultimate comes with additional parts. Also volume of sales means a lot too. I'm selling a dozen or more a week so I don't need to raise the profit margin which helps me sell more....and the fact that mine works helps too.
Powerhouse and coast have really good products also and I haven't heard much negative feedback about either one so I think you wouldn't regret the purchase from them but I can't say the same for some others on the market. All of us include the necessary hardware for the install but not usually loops and control arms.

The Denny's vibrates because of the crappy adaptor they sent with the driveshaft. When I ordered I did not know it would have an adaptor instead a direct replacement or changing pinion flange. Plus the aluminum is lighter.

After reading tons of positive comments about the Spyder D/S I decided to go with it. I bought the front BMR safety loop from Tillman and am going to do the install at a friend's house on the 11th.

I believe you are probably are fine with either the Coast or the Spyder D/S but I know if there is a problem Ron will stand behind his product.
