Costco is having a deal now on Michelin tires so I picked up a set of Michelin X-Ice tires for $484 installed. I won't have them installed until the snow falls though. As soon as the snow is gone, the Mickey Thompsons are going on.

I've been lazy in switching back to the stock wheels/tires.... I'm contemplating just keeping what I have on it right now through the winter.

Wow, just what I need! What size were those X-Ices? I'm looking for 225 55 17 or 235-55 17s, is that what you got? That's a great price, and I already got extra rims for them!

And yes, i don;t have my car yet, but I PLAN AHEAD!

These are excelltn tires. I have had the older version, the Arctic Alpin, on two cars and they were phenomenal. My Mustang with these tires should be a dandy for whatever a Canadian winter throws my way!

There is nothing better than a RWD car w/TC in the winter. A very natural steering car and my 99 GT was a piece of cake, I figure this car will be even better.

Carry your AAA towing card.
J/K

Full tank of gas, some added weight, prefer not salt, the thought just scares me. Some 2nd gear starts. And some practice in a safe parking lot in snow.

I too need to wait out this winter with the stock 18"s. Come spring ill keep an eye out for someone selling stock 17"s to mount some Dunlop winter sports on

I got a $500 beater to drive to work all summer and winter. It saves me about 7000 miles a year on the Stang.

I bought mine to drive it as much as humanly possible. The last thing I would want to do is drive a beater while my Stang is sitting in the garage. That would suk big time.
