Thumbs up

How difficult is it to install after market gauges? I am considering buying a 2 pod pillar and filling it with air/fuel and oil pressure gauges. I've never installed gauges of this type before so I have no idea where to start. Where/what would I have to connect them to? Can anyone provide some insight into the gauge install process and pictures (if you have them). I really want the air/fuel gauge since the 05 is so sensitive to modifications.

Thanks!

Here is my write up when I installed electric oil pressure and water temp gauges. PM me if you need any more info. It's fairly easy and if you're using electric gauges you won't have to drill any holes.

Chris - the gauges come with a bulb that will light up like a dirty/white color. Since I have the MyColor set at blue all the time, I installed Autometer's blue LED bulbs in the gauges. They're not very bright, but they are blue. One word of caution - if you install Autometer's LED bulbs, check their length against the bulb that came with the gauge. I had to grind off nearly 1/4" from the top of the LED to get it to fit. Once I did that, all was right with the world

Also, get one of these for your power and/or bulb connections. I got mine at Autozone for like $6. I used the fuse labeled (per the owner's manual) marked as "cluster".
