Is an adjustable UCA necessary if I am not lowering the car? I ask because I've decided against lowering the car as I am quite happy with the stock ride height and ride quality.

Not unless you plan on getting a 1 Piece drive shaft and even then it is up for debate. If you plan on getting a piece driveshaft then i would suggest it simply to make sure the pinion angle is correct. And although ti should be ok in stock form it may need some minor tweaking and the UCA will allow this.

even if you are going to change the pinion angle I would recomend the lower control arms . they have much more flex than the upper. so upgrading them reduces the flex, allows the adjustments and is easier to adjust due to their location.

If you are experiencing wheelhop then the uca replaceent is worthwhile. If you plan on dropping the car in the future then get the adjustable UCA.
