Just advance the timing a degree if you're using 94 octane gas with a 93 octane tune. If the engine pings, then put the timing back to its original setting.

Definately, Doug made me some awesome 94 octane tunes. Just type the tunes you want in the tune request area ie: 89 torque, 94 Performance, 94 Torque.

btw has anyone dynoed their car with a 94 octane tune?

It's available here in Edmonton Alberta Canada but it's not common at all. Only one station here in the city that has it. It's also an Ethanol blend.

Approximately one degree of timing should be added in order to compensate for the extra octane, but using a 93 tune should work properly.

We used to have 94 until the Sunoco ****'s came through and took them all out. There's still one 94 around here, and one station with 100 octane which is an affordable 6.50ish a gallon!

Wow.. 100 octane... Do they have a landing strip at that gas station?
We have 93.5 here and that is the highest I have seen in a while.

The highest I've seen around here is 93 and of course that’s blended with 10% ethanol (oh joy) Everything is blended with ethanol, not sure I've seen a station that doesn't have the ethanol blend.

Nobody's ever seen the Sunoco 100 octane purple stations?

Here's all the locations that have it:

If you have any husky's in the area there should be one or more that have it. Personally I've had better performance with Esso 91 and the Bren91 tune. The 94 octane with the 93 tune seemed soft. I was going to ask Brenspeed about that but haven't had a chance. If you go to the Husky site you can do a search for octane availability in your local area.
