87 vs. 93 Octane tune
I'm sure this has been covered but I couldn't find anything w/the search.
Anyone who has investigated this or has read the posts of those who have, I'm wondering what the emperical differences are between the two tunes? Are there any dyno graphs kicking around?
The modifications I have planned for the car are:
Shifter
C&L CAI
4.30's
SCT 2
and maybe a Bassani X pipe, if that alone provides any HP gains. I love the sound of the stock mufflers, they're staying...

In a nutshell, the higher the CAI octane tune, the higher the performance/horsepower increase.
I personally have no concrete proof except the the seat of the pants wow factor and extremely noticable difference between a factory setup and my SCT2 89 octane tune with C&L CAI. Like night and day difference.
No clue in the differences in all the settings in the various tunes. My tuner (Doug) at BamaChips did all of that. I just drive with a permanent grin from ear to ear

Based on the dyno results from owners on various forums and also from aftermarket CAI/tuner suppliers, a 93 octane tune will produce approximately 10-15 hp more than an 87 tune, depending on variables like temperature, altitude, baseline hp, etc.
