611 Hp and 576 Tq

I just got back from ST Motorsports and had Adam tuning my new setup they built. 611 Hp and 576 Tq!! . Adam is the best. This was on 17 lbs of boost and goes down to 16 after 5000 rpm and it has an automatic. It has a 6 rib belt now. I guess I need to look into a new belt setup.

My new setup is a cobra crank, JE Pistons (low compression), H beam rods, head work, cams and a 2.3 Whipple. Adam also has installed his Bad a** air inlet setup.

That torque line is awesome. It heads straight north at 3k. What a gut wrencher. That's what it takes to get the car moving. This is why I like the twinscrews over the centrifigals. You wouldn't see that with them. Awesome!! Wonder how long the auto will like those numbers. I am pulling for it. Keep us informed.

Bad azz! Talk about busting the tires loose at 75mph, you're there. My Procharger comes off next month.....going Whipple. I'll be keeping it at or under 500rw though. The Procharger has been absolutely great, no problems or issues at all. I just want that mean bottom end tq.

Ira,Adam call John at ST for that paxton I worked a deal with him but I hear he is selling it.909-388-2536.

Scott I had the trans reworked by Tony at Larry's transmission in Corona he has several autos out there making awesome power, Gt4dino, pfsracer to name a few.

Anthony, My Paxton was a great street blower but I needed to go faster got tired of Don W and his better half whipping me all the time. You will LOVE the T/S.

Many thanks to Adam and his crew from ST Motorsports for an awesome build.

Here are some pics of t-body it is a prototype for now will make pretty later

My trans was built by Tony at Larry's Trans it has a PI triple lockup converter in it. He has a few units out there with that kind of power. I have 4.10s in it stock housing.

Just out of curiosity, how much did it cost you to build up the engine? I know it must have been a pretty penny.

Hey Ken,
What kind of things does Larry's do to strengthen these auto transmissions other than a better torque converter. Just curious.

Justin, I changed alot of things at the same time so I dont know how much I spent I also bought 2 blowers a KB 2.6H and the whipple. So I know it was alot but dont know how much for the motor but just the heads are like 2800 plus 700 for cams.

Scott, He put brass sleves in the trans. I am not the most technical when it comes to the inner workings of the trans.

Whats the required fuel for a whipple? Around here the highest octane we have is 91. I'm considering a whipple but if it only requires 93 gas I won't be able to get it . Can the whipple use lower octance rating , for example 87, 89, 91? If it could use 87 that would be awesome lol.

They can be tuned for 91 octane and make great power. You would be wasting your money on the supercharger if it was tuned for 87. You have to have octane to keep the detonation from showing up and to make big power. If you can spend the money for a supercharger than buck up for the fuel they require.

If you plan to outrun Don_W's wife, you need lessons. She has bigger ***** than most of the men I've ever seen drive, and that's a compliment. Great driver. Now on topic- your car is ****ing SWEET! You have what I want mine to eventually be. I'm watching this buld.
