5.4L DOHC Navigator questions...
Can the Navi 5.4 cast iron block with over 200K miles on it be bored and honed .020 or .030? I have heard that it cannot, but that the GT and WorldProducts blocks can.
What about the motor fitment in an S197? I know it can be done, but what would be the hood clearance issues? Would the SullivanPerformance intake manifold/elbow clear a stock hight hood?
Thanks in advance for your help

The block being able to be rebuild is totally dependent on the condition it's currently in. The modular family of engines has extremely close bore spacing, so there's not much room to make corrections before you start weakening the bores too much.
Obviously, the motor will fit in the car, though I'm certain with the taller deck height plus the Sullivan intake, you'd definitely need a new hood.
