35% or 20% tint?

Isn't a convertible about being noticed?
I read on my NC state inspection that there is a place for window tint.
Do you have a shop that will pass you?
I would not worry about the LEOs.

Rev, you haven't had a vert for long have you?
The vert is not all about being noticed. There is much more to the equation.
My top is down 99% of the time when I'm driving but its up 100% of the time when I'm parked. Not only is tinted windows a nice security option, but also helps block some of the heat that we endure here in NC. I'm just trying to decide between 35% and 20%.

Do what ever is legal unless you're sure you won't get ticketed for it..... trust me, the only thing worse than not having tint, is having it but being forced to remove it because it's too dark.

I went with 15% on rear and qtr windows... it's pretty d@mn dark... especially at night trying to look out the back. Took a while to get used to, but I really like it. Use my side mirrors more now at night !
