Question 3.90 Ring & Pinion for 05+ GT?

Does anyone know if there is a 3.90 ring & pinion set for the 05+ GT? I noticed that Pro 5.0 makes them custom while I was watching the new DVD "Building the Perfect Beast" from MM&FF. When I went to look on their site I didn't find anything.

Based on your shifter mod why not go with the 4:10's?? They are the gear of choice for the manuals.

I'd love to have the 4.10's but with the highway driving that I do everyday, I think they'd be a tad too much. I think the 3.90's would probably be the best for my daily driving routine.

3.90 or 3.73 either one will help keep it a smooth daily driver but still help when it comes to the track

Pro 5.0's gears are made by Richmond. They are good gears if the installer knows how to set gears correctly. I had them and decided to go with the 4.10's instead. They don't hinder my daily driving any more.

The difference between 3.90 and 4.10's driving at 65 miles an hour is about 100 rpm's. I currently have 3.55's and my 4.30's will be put in this Saturday.

Do you happen to know the rpm difference between the stock 3.55's and the 4.10's. Im on the fence. I want the 4.10's, but i dont want my rpm's constantly high (2500+) when im on the highway doing 75-80mph.

Your rpm will be @ 2500-2600 rpm @ 75 MPH with the 4:10's

3.55 gears at 75 mph are about 2300 rpm's in my car with stock tires and I estimate 2600 rpm's with 4.10's and about 2500 with 3.90's . at 75 mph

Well instead of starting another 3.90 gear thread. I'll just join yours. I am seriously close to pulling the trigger on 3.90 gears from Motive. Is there anyone in Northern Virginia that has 4.10's or 3.90's? If so who did you go to, to get the gears installed. And would you be interested in me riding along just so I can "feel" the difference. The regional threads are useless in this regard. Sorry for "hijacking" your thread.
