U-bolt type probably the best - get stainless steal unless you want orange rust spots in your garage. You could also try Accuseal - these are like the original equipment, but a little harder to find and don't torque quite as well as the Ubolt type. The Ubolt type will, most likely, crimp the pipe a little. I like the idea of cutting slots like the original equipment - makes alot of sense.
