I ordered the Bullits. Going to upgrade to 18" wheels eventually anyway, so why spend money on an optional wheel? Plus, the Bullit IS starting to grow on me too. If it was chrome...

As far as the fake spinner, no way. If it is a REALLY spinner, then that is kick butt! But if they are just fake plastic, it looks like a cheap toy.

Now a REAL set of knock off wheels would be bad! You would have to replace your lug wrench with a dead blow hammer!

Lots left. Just don't wanna start another insult war.

As another oldster, I ordered the upgrade wheels for my "T85, Clean and Unscheduled" because I :

1) Plan to replace them with after market wheels in the near future, and
2) Can look at something different in the meantime (I have been looking at my bullits (not the original Crager Mags) on my '02 GT Vert for a while now).

I guess I'm with those who think it's completely up to the one spending the bucks to satisfy himself (or herself), more than the ever swarming critics.

Enjoy the ride !!!

I have the upgrade wheels and can't believe that's the best Ford could do for the Mustang! Seriously, they look like a wheel for a Taurus or 500 - not something for the Mustang - they are not retro like the rest of the car and I'll be selling mine just as soon as I can find the AR Torque Thrust II's in an 18x9 size.

Anyone who wants these wheels hang tight and I'll make you a good deal on them!

I vaoted machined because that is what I ordered but not particularly what I want. I like the Bullits better but not the factory ones.

I'm going to run some of the rubber off my facotry wheels (it probably won't take long) and get some 18X9 polished chrome Bullits or something other than the factory powdered that I am not impressed with.

I might be able to resell the machined when I switch for a little more money since they were the option wheel.

OK kc, I'll bring the Bullitts back up a notch. I'll vote for them, hands down. And your spinners - BEAUTIFUL! I ordered a set (the Pony ones) when I ordered the car on Dec. 29th so in the interim I've got lots of time to polish them up. But....I see that I paid a heck of alot more for them here (Canada) than you guys in the States - which I'll be seeing my dealer about tomorrow.

My only problem.....I've seen the Magnums on a few of the posts and now I'm wavering between them and the Bullitts. Didn't like them on the 04's, love them on the '05 for some reason. But no spinners for those babys.

Fair is fair though....you asked for a vote between the factory optional wheels and it's Bullitt all the way.

So.....how about another vote in another post: Bullitt vs Magnum?? I'll defer to you 'cause it's your baby.

Regards, Mark.

Magnums are the 03/04 style used on the Mach 1 - a newer version of the old "Magnum 500's" from the 60's/early 70's.

Hi Dave. Check out Swingle007's thread. Some REAL NICE pics.

http://forums.bradbarnett.net/index.php?showtopic=13792

I see from one of Brad's posts (a Ford Accessory Brochure) that it's available for the 05 (the difference between the 05 and prior is backspacing by 4/10ths of an inch), everyone here says the 04 version will work but I'd like to know what kind of "actual" difference the approx. 1/2" will make.

Looks great though, don't you think?

Mark.
