2005 gt with 200000 miles..
Im got an 05 gt has 200430 miles on it . runs great second owner and never had one prob with it.. has tune and steeda throttle and bbk headers i wanting the mother thumpr cams i know i need phaser and new chains i also want to put on a ford proformance intake.. my question is do i buy a used motor with a whole lot less miles on it or do it to this one.. i know theres taxi cabs in new york with 300 - 400000 miles.. what do you guy think

With 200k+miles, I'd save my $$$ towards replacing the motor first before adding cams or any other type of engine upgrades. IMHO adding mods to an engine with such high mileage is only going to end up causing your rings, pistons, rods and so on to wear out that much quicker from the additional stress you'll be putting on it. Anyhow, just my opinion
