2005-07 Mustang Handling Pack?
I hear the saleen kit is not great and has a poor ride.
There are tons of threads on this subject. All I will say is that it depends on how fussy you want to get and what your tolerance for things is.
Plenty have run the kit as is and love it. Including Shelby GT owners.
Others, want to correct axle centering, pinion angle, control arm angles, roll center, etc, etc. Which is technically the right way to do it.
Personally, I went with a nice mild 3/4-1" drop. My alignment is perfect with only a smidge of toe adjustment needed with no camber bolts, etc. I have 3/4-1 degree of neg camber which is great for handling and still fine for tire wear. Rear axle is much better centered now than stock before and is actually within 1/32" of perfect it would seem.
Rear control arms are only slightly tilted from being level with the ground, but are a tiny bit off. Pinion angle seems to only be slightly affected and still fine, although I have not used any tools more complex than a level before/after the job.
And I have to trim my bumpstops in the back.
But otherwise the car is great.
Now with a larger drop, all of the above gets worse but is correctable, and also ok to leave too.

I would say that the FRPP Stg 3 kit is a great starting point for getting your mustang feeling and handling like a different car...
But, the first thing I recommend you do is, install a good boxed subframe connector... a rigid platform is the starting point for any good handling car. That one modification will help improve braking, acceleration, and handling.
As 'classj' said... to really do it right will require the addition of good LCA's with a re-location bracket and an adjustable UCA to correct pinion angle and an adjustable panhard bar to center the rear. USE POLY BUSHINGS IN ALL SUSPENSION PARTS FOR STREET DRIVEN STANGS. Other wise your suspension will be noisy... snap, crackle and pop..
The suspension is one place where you have a number of different manufacturers, so it's difficult to decide which way to go.
I have FRPP Struts & Shocks with a Ground Contol Coil-over conversion kit that uses Eibach springs and BMR's complete suspension set up. I have not upgraded the swaybars, they are still OEM. I did my suspension prior to the release of the FRPP Stg 3 kit.
My stang is a real ground hugger and still has good ride quality.

Make your own kit! You can mix and match suspension pieces and get the best of everything. Usually for nearly the same thing as the kit would be. Give me a call!!
