Hi, I have 2 grand to spend on parts/labor. I know many of you now know what was worth the money, and what works. Any input is greatly appreciated. Can you also tell me the best place to order the parts.

Thanks,
Sean

Uhh ohhh, theres a craze taking over...lol

If you go with nitrous, I'll help u with the install

Alot depends on the goal u have in mind for the car. I would go CAI, gears, and better tires, and a tune of course.

Gears ($500), Short Ram Intake and a Tuner ($600), Lower Control Arms and Relocation Brackets ($500) and a some custom dyno tuning time ($400).

Gears are your very best bet.

Oh to be more specific, I don't plan on going to the strip much. I'm just looking for more fun out of the car.

Here is my plan...
CAI
gears
axle backs
throttle body
tune (not canned)
wheels/tires

Probably more than 2k, but that should give you some ideas.

I agree. I was looking at the Saleen blower this afternoon. Looks like the easiest of them all when it comes to installation. Low boost, high numbers.

Here's my plan for a fairly competent street brawler:

Intake/SCT2 ($600)
Underdrive pulleys ($180-$250)
Throttle body spacer ($100)
Gears, installed ($600)
Steeda springs ($250)
Ford Racing front and rear sway bar kit ($400)

Doing all the installs myself except the gears for a total of just over $2k. I'm seriously considering just chopping my springs, though--$250 I can put towards lower control arms and a strut tower brace.

This should hold me until the warranty is up, then in goes the Saleen supercharger.

Definatly some gears which are more labor intensive than parts as far as cost go. I would also do a CAI and a custom dyno tune.
