got my diablo tuner and jlt cai, had it dynoed last week. made 293 / 318 on a superflow dyno. ran 3 times last night 13.20,13.18,and 13.08, all at 104 with 1.85 sixty's. car was 3710 with me in it, still on stock tires.

 

it is a 5 speed, i wasnt there when they baselined it , the guy said it made around 265 / 290 stock, he's giving me a disc with all the runs .

Are you running a custom tune or "canned" JLT tune with that Diablo? I have my JLT CAI and I'm on the fence about which way to go with my tune.

i have a custom tune, Chris at diablo said the jlt flows so much air, he had to add alot of fuel, the jlt by it self made the a/f 15.1. i still have stock gears.

 

Bryan, how much do you weigh, 260?? Do you remove track prep the car, such as removing the spare, jack, floor mats, etc?

 

I assume that means a standard, considering they are both 5 speeds

i race at silver dollar raceway in reynolods ga. the weather was about 60 deg. humidity wasnt too bad. did you get your clutch issues straightened 169stang.

 

I am in the same boat as you on this one Clem. It's good to know that with agood tune and JLT CAI we can all expect to see #'s similar to this. 290 hp at the rear wheels is pretty darn good for just a CAI and tune.

I will be having a Ram clutch put in this week and some line Locs from Paul's HP. Can't wait to get it finished. It took all this time just to get the clutch. Ram had to put one together for me, which tells me I'm a guinea pig. They actually have the same clutch in another 05 in another state, but I'm the first in Florida-not that it means anything except being a guinea pig. I'm getting antsy...

By the way, when is that NMRA event in GA?

 

it is april 9th and 10th. you should come up if you get the chance, its a really good time. we always park a big flat bed trailer right by the fence and grill out all weekend. the event always has a big turnout and the track hooks good and is very low altitude, i always run my best times on that weekend, the nmra boys prep the track good.

 

Low 13s are very impressive for these mods. Congratulations! Hopefully 12s will be in your future soon.
