11s NA soon?

Ran two 12.19s at 111 (1.588 60ft) on Sunday at Mason Dixon in Maryland. Once I get the clutch replaced I think 11s will be pretty easy. Getting this C&L manifold tuned just right with the cams has been tricky, but we ran on the old tune and got 12.40 and couldn't break it, uploaded the new tune and I had SIX personal bests that day. Will likely need decent air too so I'm looking for a morning or evening run next. May have money to pull the seats and put some lighter weight replacements in there too. Every little bit helps...

That's really impressive, sounds like some great driving! What mods are you running?

Strip that thing down! Power/heated seats(if you have them) weigh a ton and you can lose a bunch of weight there.

If your mod list in your sig is correct then i wonder what a built short block would do for you. Do i see 10s on a NA motor?

I don't THINK anyone hit 10s with a gutted built 4.6l. I know Ron Leonard did with an NA built 5.4L. JDM got like 11.1 or 11.2 last year I think.

Here are the mods. I AM getting rid of the seats, and also finishing off my drag suspension with BMR's coil over kit for the front, with 225# springs.

-Exhaust-
Magnaflow axleback muffler
JBA h-pipe
JBA titanium coated longtube headers

-Engine-
C&L cold air intake with Woodbine Motorsports tune
C&L Intake Manifold
Comp Stage cams and beehive springs (#127500)
Steeda underdrive pullies

-Drivetrain-
Spec II+ clutch
Spec steel flywheel
Spydershaft Aluminum driveshaft
Metco front driveshaft loop
FRPP 4.30 gears
Detroit TrueTrac
MGW shifter

-Suspension-
BMR strut tower brace
BMR boxed lower control arms and relocation brackets
BMR adjustable upper control arm
BMR tubular k-member and a-arms
BMR radiator support/front swaybar delete bracket
BMR Xtreme Antiroll Bar
BMR Panhard Bar
QA-1 adjustable race shocks
Steeda sport springs

--Wheels and Tires (Track)-
15" Bogart Drag wheels (15x4.5", 15x9.75")
Mickey Thompson 26x11.5-15 and 26x4.5-15

If anyone will get 10's with a na 4/6 it will be matt d. I don't think there's anyway to do it without gutting basically the entire car + every weight reduction mod out there.
