Im pretty sure you could count all the 11sec. N/A guys on one hand- Nice going, you have a strong runner.

Do you mind telling how much it cost to get the stock heads ported? Do you have the numbers/specs?
What about the specs on the cams?

Edit: are you on the stock converter??

I know that spyder has done it....and I think Rench has gooten really close if not gotten there too.

Not 100% sure but spyder has a stock motor, no head work or cams.

Would love to see your 60' time. where did you get the anderson cams? and who ports the heads?

If I ever get the 60' times where they belong I should be alot closer.

Thanks for the positive feedback. Answers to your questions, If I missed one let me know.

Anderson N-43 grind. Call Rick for the numbers. Andersonfordmotorsport.com
I do not have flow numbers. They were ported by Kris Starnes (Champion Racing Heads) Palm Coast Fl.
Valvetrain setup was handled by Al Papitto(Boss 330 racing). Manual Hubs deleting the VCT.
60 foot on that pass was a 1.58. This is a 5 speed car.
Peak is at 6800 RPM, Datalogging has me coming through the traps at 6100. Actually considering 4.56's to move the finish line rpm to 6400. I would like to see 11.80's with the gear swap. A shift light and a wideband A/F meter to hook to the HP Tuners is next.

I have followed Spyder's and Rench's cars. Absolutely amazing.

This is what I am shooting for over the next season. I hope to report some numbers this spring after a few more goodies. I'm not sure how much more it will take to shave a little over 1/2 second from my current best.

Can we assume that you have a motor waiting in the wings at Al Papitto's shop?

Your lucky your running at close to sea level. Up here at 2300 ft you're running 12.30-12.40. Up here you'd be a 12 sec car.
Very good time for a heavy, NA car, not an easy task to do. Congrats.

Do you believe the rpm's will cause a premature death of the stock shortblock?

Gainesville has it's advantages. Definately an accomplishment for someone to pull off an 11 at your altitude.

I do have one video before the heads and cams were installed. I was running 12.40's then(April 07). The link will place you on the local mustang club board called MMJAX. Lot's of great info and good people from Jacksonville Fl.

I'm in the same boat as you--trust me, it won't take much more in mods and seat time. Weight reduction and setting up the rear suspension properly will help immensely. I got a 12.85 with my setup and a F*cked clutch, and that was my first day with the new suspension. We took videos and figure I lost nearly a full second in between gears because the clutch wasn't disengaging. I still had the passenger seat in, spare tire in, half a tank of gas, stock 17" OEM wheels up front, and aftermarket 17x9s with brand new MT ET Drag radials (295/45-17). If you look at the picture you can see that I hooked pretty good and ALMOST lifted the driver wheel on that heavy front end off the ground.

I still have a tubular K-member and a-arms to go in, a new set of Bogarts with front skinnies, and tubular swaybar/radiator support to go in before the March season begins. I'm pumped.

Guys, we can make that handful of NA 11s a dirty dozen this season--let's go for it!

Datalogging using my laptop in conjunction with the HP Tuners software. They just released a Ford version. I have some GTO friends that have made tremendous strides using this software. The Ford version is still in the infant stages compared to the LS Chevy software which has been active for a good 3-4 years. Another positive is the ability to plug a wideband into the HP Tuner box and get real time info throughout the run.

I like the "Dirty Dozen" theme.....Have any graphics guys on the board?

Yeah, a normally-aspirated 11 second club avatar, that would be cool. Now I REALLY want my 11s. 25 days until the track opens...
