'06 GT TSB's and recalls....fees...

hello all!
good news..

my dealer is keeping my new '06 GT for an extra 3-4 days before i get it because he wants service to go through all the TSB's and recalls before i take it home.

also, i nicely asked that no fees are associated with the purchase and he quickly answered me saying that dealer FEES are all scams and he can never do that to any customer of his!

Diblasi Ford in Corona, NY (queens)...Amazing sales rep!!!

Happy New Year All!

I had a few TSB's taken care of while I was in Louisiana this Christmas, no fees or anything, wasn't even my dealer (heck, wasn't even the same state!)

There's 1 recall for the 07 GT but it pertains to aftermarket Eibach struts. I have no idea why it is tied into the NHTSA database. Usually aftermarket products never get recalled in this manner unless they are used by the OEMs.
