Here's the breakdown:
MPH 3.27 3.55
0-20 1.81 1.84
0-30 3.11 3.10
0-40 4.48 4.52
0-50 6.43 6.55
0-60 8.71 8.72
0-70 11.16 11.14
0-80 14.19 14.42
0-90 18.74 18.83
0-100 24.01 24.01
Top Speed 130mph 119mph
Same year car, same everything except rear end ratios. Looks to me like the 3.27 is out in front nearly all the way to 100.

The 3.55 CVPI has ALWAYS been faster than the 3.27 CVPI since the 3.55s were first used in the 1999 MY. Ford changed the front suspension and much of the chassis for the 2003-up Panthers (added about 100-200 lb extra weight) but I can't see how the CVPI with 3.55s would run about the same or slightly slower than the CVPI with 3.27s. The filename suggests this is the 2007 preliminary report. NLECTC has not published the 2007 full report as far as I know. I think there's something definitely wrong with their acceleration test.
If you look at the dynamics test, the 3.55 CVPI comes out a tad faster, which is NORMAL:

Just to keep the thread a bit on topic at the same time, the 03 Mach 1 looks to be a bit heavier than the S197 GT (25 lb or so) and only has 5 more horsepower. However the 0-60 and 1/4 mile ET listed on one of the websites shows the 01 Cobra, 03 Mach 1, and 05 GT all to be comparable in terms of acceleration using the manual transmission. There are no clear winners when you are talking stock vs stock. The IRS on the Cobra may appeal to some, but I prefer the live-axle.

Well my 01 Cobra had wheel hop from hell. So I was super easy to beat off the line. Now throw a live axle under there and bingo, problem solved.
FYI my Cobra was 100% stock when I sold it in 06 (HP wize)
Heck, it still had orginal tires..........
99-01 Cobras are everywhere in WA State.
