Windsor or Cleveland
My sister-n-law received a '70 Mach 1 for her graduation present. 300HP, Shaker hood, 4sp. and rear window slats, man that car was sweet. They sold it to start a family. You are right, they are more parts for the Windsors than Clevelands, but I'd still would like to have the Cleveland.
im kinda split.
if the car is all original and is going to be kept that way: Cleveland! great engines (basis for Boss 351)
if the car is gonna be restomodded: Windsor, there's wuite a bit more u can do with em. i long for a '71 FB w/ a 351 windsor bumped to a 427 stroker and converted to EFI coupled to a 5 speed
edit: forgot to add, i voted for windsor

I see a lot more parts and advertising for the Windsor but my buddy swears the Cleveland is a stronger more durable engine for modifications. I myself am not sure so I'll go with his input:
Cleveland

that's exactly right generally speaking

Is it also true W makes torque and C has better top-end?
The Cleveland motor hasn't been in production since the 70's, so the windsor motor definitely has an advantage in terms of aftermarket availablitly.
Stock for stock, i'd take the cleveland, the cylinder heads have HUGE ports (especially the 4V heads).
The coolest setup would be to build a 351 using a windsor block and cleveland heads. I remember reading in M&F years ago that there is a shop that builds intakes to fit a setup like that.
