I saw the movie "Transformers" today - wow what a rush! Don't miss this one, plenty of action and special effects. One of the stars has to be the new Camaro. I hate to say it but it's a real head turner. The Camaro is cast as a "good" Transformer while a Mustang is on the "Bad" side. The Mustang appears to be a V6 with the Pony package and a custom hood, although it sounds like V8. Anyhow it's kind of neat and I highly recommend seeing this film.

 

The Mustang (Barriacde) is not a pony edition. It is a Saleen S281.

Sounds like a V8 cause it is a V8. I love the Saleen front end. NOT the back. That's just destruction of a beauty right there.

Barricade is my new show theme. I got the push bar giving to me. Local sherriffs dept is sponsoring me with a 2" LED bar for the roof. Working on getting white magnetic door skins with a 18'' deceptacon badge on them.
Also getting the " to punish and enslave" letters too. All will be easily removable from car. Sherrifs dept wants me to take it to the local schools for D.A.R.E. and police athletic league.

Mustang hands down....after all the Camaro still doesnt exist. The Camaro you saw in the movie was a GTO platform with a fiberglass Camaro body on it. To top it off they were both built by Saleen for the movie.

 

Funny how people see things differently. The rear of the Saleen is the best part of the car by far IMO.

 

I don't know if the sound clips from the Mustang were actually from that car or not but that was the best part of him (barricade) for me it sounded wicked.

 

I actually got a bigger rush hearing the Saleen Mustang revving than when Bumblebee changed into the new Camaro.
I'm still a little p-ssed at Jazz's fate, his first line, but he was also a friggin Pontiac Solstice!

 

Ya it was odd seeing Jazz so easily dispatched but oh well we'll see what looms in the sequels. I didn't see Barricade in the final bout so maybe he survived with starscream to return. Last scene I saw him in was the highway.

 

I still don't like the rearview mirrors on the new Camaro - they seem too small.
