What's up with the penchant for convertibles? After reading that list, she's got to be kidding... everyone knows the best car for a first date has to have a large backseat area and poor gas mileage! That is the perfect list - for me to poop on! (I keed! I keed!)

 

She must work for Consumer Reports..But then again,it would have been Toyota, Honda etc etc..

 

I never really thought of the Mustang as a date car.....waaaaay to loud.

hey my girl, guess what she drives???? 1989 chevy 1500 v6 manual...yea...shes down to earth and she can handle herslf, she hasnt rode in the stang, its in hiding until spring, shes moving in with me in july, she likes the cutlass, so im thinkin she'll take that and ill drive one of the others, or im really lookin at a fusion or sport trac..edge is nice, but to pricy...o well...regardless....mustang says.."get in, were gonna have fun"...perfect car for a night out

I will always miss my 1986 Jeep Comanche Longbed 4 speed 2.5L pickup, white with black tint. That was the truck my wife and I went on a first date in when we were 16. I wish I could find it today, we both miss it.

 

I am also surprised the Stang didn't make that list. But hey, that's one chick's opinion.
