I got a little story pertaining to this. So, I have this pretty hardcore ricer buddy who was always telling me about how amazing the Honda's he's owned were, and how fast he can make a 4-banger go, and all sorts of smack again American Iron. I usually just let it go and listened to him talk. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago. We happened to have nothing to do, so I told him I was going to show him what a V8 Mustang can do. Loaded my 93 race tune, drove out to a deserted road, and completely nailed it from 0 to about ~90-100mph. Slow down and turn around, look at him, he says "****, I didn't know Mustangs could go that fast." He doesn't really talk too much rice anymore. I tell him I can respect the imports that have nuts behind the grille, but the attitude that so many of them bring to the table is such bull ****.

If you dont understand Rwd Has over steer, Fwd Has under steer and AWD has them both and actually have to be better diver in an AWD car to be fast. Throttle controll and RPM coroll is needed more in an AWD car than FWD and RWD. So if you dont understand vehicle dynamics than dont talk about it. Eric you make good points but please please get educated about these things like this b4 you spout out at the mouth.

I actually feel like I lost IQ points reading that thread. 300 HP in a light car and they can only hit 13's man that is sad. The dude talking about the 03/04 cobras being 13 second cars and that the "SVT version" was slightly faster really cracked me up.

Funny Stuff....Bluemorontc is like Forrest Gump, only a complete retard. EVERY post he made on that board shows him as a typical NY loudmouth moron who thinks his car is the fastest thing since the invention of sliced toast!
Some of those guys aren't so bad but that idiot has got to be the worst. I love how they talk so much smack until someone calls them out and then all of the sudden the type of guy they were smack talking is a troll to them....
I love how the guy states a time for the '03/04 Cobra and then states that "the SVT is slightly faster"....are these guys REALLY that stupid?!?
Sadly they really do believe all that garbage they are spitting out. Anything can be made fast but 380HP is hardly something to brag about like you cannot be beaten in todays age....Bluemorontc is a legend in his own mind and those who believe him are lemmings headed for a cliff edge.

I just noticed how the majority of that thread revolves around 3 Guidos in the NY/NJ/CT areas.

A. Can't afford Mustang
B. Cant afford to insure Mustang
C. Their parents realize their kid is a chimp and not capable of driving Mustang.
With that said, How I deal with the ricers.
Dont bother to race, it's not worth my gas or even a challenge.

Good god that is priceless. I felt like a total loser when I dragged the Bullitt and ran a 14. I thought I was the most epic fail to ever drive that car. Silly me, I should have joined a Scion forum, I would have been a hero there

That is good entertainment right there!! I really love the comment about running 14's and "so what do you think about that?" Well, I think I have run a 14 second pass once...and that was when I smoked the tires on the line in first gear!! All other passes have been in the 13's. It's amazing how they think they know so much about cars, yet refer to the Cobra as slow....and the SVT a little faster. Wow.
