Modded II vs stock Bullitt vs stock M

Alright, just to satisfy some bench racing questions my friend and I have been having

the II:
'76 Cobra II
'92 302 Roller swap
C4
LT headers, straight pipes, glasspacks, side exit dumps
3:55 gears
Edelbrock Performer 289/ Holley 4bbl
functional hood scoop (like it matters lol)

The Bullitt and the BMW M coupe are both bone stock. I'm also pretty sure I'm better at shifting than my friend with the M

Does my poor little II even stand a chance against the Bullitt and M? Does the Bullitt have ground to stand on against the M?

I'm still not sure what to expect for hp/tq levels on the II, so if anyone has any guesses there, that would rock

I know I already asked about 1/4 times in the II thread, but not many folk read that lol.

Throw me the keys to Fiona, or Kailey and we'll see how it goes.

I say the Bullitt would beat both of them.

But it will be a close race between the bullitt and the M coupe. may come down to the driver.

In that case, I'll definitely have to take Kaylee. Wouldn't want you to be the reason that the stangs lost...

Just as a heads up, we're going to find out which car really is fastest in the 1/4 soon. Scheduled to go to Infineon Raceway on the 30th. Right now I'm set to take Kaylee, unless of course Fiona is ready to run by then

I figure I can look up Bullitt 1/4 times whenever. A modded II like mine though? Seriously who knows?? lol. I'm even looking forward to that nice long drive up to Sonoma. So far cars lined up to go are my II, the M, possible a 69 Dart with a 340, a 5.0 Stang, Possibly a Mini (lol) and maybe a BMW 330 coupe. Maybe I can round up a few more cars by the time the 30th rolls around. My dad's coming along to and he (if not, Dart boy or something) will get some nice video of my runs, and everyone elses of course. teeheehee

Take 'em all down to the track to settle the question once and for all. You'll have to drive each car to verify it is not the driver making the difference, LOL.

I'd have to guess the II. I don't know what kind of power the 92 put out stock but it can't be much less than the Bullet stock with the mods done to the 302. I'd say Bullet over the M but I think the II is going to have the weight advantage with either close to miniscule HP difference.

The '92 put out 225hp and 300ish lbft at the crank originally, with the stock EFI. With my mods though, I expect around 250hp, so a little bit less than the Bullitt's 275, though I imagine the 302 is quite a bit torqueier than the 281

So ya I keep the same choice I'm sure your II weighs alot less than the Bullet. Those things were small and most don't realize the wiring and added smog and safety equipment more than makes up for real steel bodies on older cars like that. Wanna see the results but my prediction still stands.

Well today's the big day. II's not quite ready yet, haven't gotten a call from my mechanic, and neither is my helmet (UPS's site says its in transit from menlo park right now, not too far from here, and it can't be too far this late in the day)

I'm waiting for my buddy, his classes end at 2:10. He's gonna go pick up his dad too, so by then maybe II will be done as well as my helmets arrival. I can't wait

Yes lol. UPS got here in time eventually but the II wasn't done. I drove the bullitt to a not so glamorous 14.74@94.01

But it was my first run, and my second run only got worse when i turned TC off lol. 15.05@95.48. mph went up though
