Hey everyone...........just finished off a little Acura Ala Mode for lunch today. Kid had a killer fat spoiler, loud foldger can exhaust, and a 50% primer paint scheme, but alas, it was still no match for the 05. Started playing around around the 45-60 mph range, when he gave the glance and gunned it. So I downshifted and in the blink of an eye was sitting on 100 mph with him fading off in the rear view.

Is it me or do people just beg to race when you are in this car? I've had more people sit next to me at red lights, on the freeway, etc., and want to go. I even had a guy in an 04 GT race his engine and give it a go yesterday. It was the first time I really got on it off a light, the tires let loose in 2nd and 3rd, and since there was about 3/4 of a mile before the next light, we raced about 1/2 a mile. I got it to about 95 (in a 50 zone) before backing off and pulling in front of him in his lane. I then got over another lane and waited for him at the light, hoping to exchange some conversation with a fellow Stang owner, but the dude acted like a jerk and rolled up his windows and refused to even glance over. Geez.

Anyway, still love the car! Last tank was the worst for gas mileage, (wonder why?). Only got about 17.7 after checking after todays fillup.

Be more specific. Unless it was an NSX, it reminds me of the guy who tried to race a viper. Why even waste your time man? Oh and I hope you enjoyed eating a car served with ice cream.

 

tried to get a guy in a LS1 trans am to go yesterday,he just got behind me and stayed back-prolly has more sense than me.Same with a 350Z.Nobody wants to play.

 

Odd thing is that other than 2 Mach 1s, the only vehicles that have tried me on for size have been pickup trucks, of all things. Been looking for some ricer to slay, but haven't run into any yet.

 

I haven't had anyone wanting to race me yet. Plenty of stares and thumbs ups though.
