looks like we probably found the car for my brother!
Me and my Father went to look at it today, and this car is in immaculate condition. Everything under the hood is either new or rebuilt with about 2K miles on it.
Note: No cofee can exhaust! big points for that

I've been looking at some four eyed fox mustangs, but my brother doesn't bite... i think I might have to get one out of spite!

Although most of the car has been reconstructed or completely revamped for new parts, we know there will be things that will need fixing (It's an '85 model). He's including the original engine, which has been reconstructed.

A friend had a moded but stock looking supra looked alot like the photo. Was a sharp car and pretty quick. He never had any mechanical problems with it. Out of those choices I'd pick the Supra although I also like the 300zx's, just never had any first hand experiance with them. The mustang if you could find one in nice shape would be cool but especially that body style is really common.

and also, dont worry about insurance on a 4 eyed 5.0 too much. i mean, i dont remember the exact numbers, but insurance for ME was about $1500 a year or something in a 1989 GT, so i imagine for you (an older more experienced driver) and an older car the insurance would be significantly less...

Well, to finish up this story... My brother got a 1991 Honda Accord. Meh, not a bad first car. Thinking of "upgrading" in the future once he has some mileage under his belt

Can only state my personal experience - have had a 81 and 89 Escort which provided good cheap transportion, both were sticks. Put over 150K on each without any major problems. Did keep the maint up. My daughter has a 98 with around 80K on it and no problems. Guess a key point would be how well it was maintained.
