Both these cars are within $500 of each other.

2014 GT silver Premium
6 spd auto
Electronics package/navigation
RR Sensing/security package
Comfort package
Brembos "I think I will sell and get baer 14" 6 piston front and back"

VS

2015 Ecoboost Premium 200A
6spd. Auto
navigation
Premier color accent package
Adaptive Cruise Control
reverse park assist

What would you guys pick and why? I would love to hear what you guys think.

Thanks,
Just curious, what is the dealer asking for both cars? I'm also in the market for a new car and I'm leaning towards a 14 if I can get a good price.

GT for sure. I like the new Stang but the 13/14 body style and upgrades along with the Coyote are hard to say no to.

If you don't mind the hit to acceleration the new car is a great leap forward in handling. Its too bad though that you cant get the EBstang with the Torsen, it makes a the new car even better.

2014!
I purposely bought a 2014, when I saw the first pictures of the 2015!
I like the 2014 on looks alone, add in a V-8, no brainer!

I traded in my '12 GT Premium for a new '15 GT Premium. 435 horsepower, lots better handling, 14-22 mpg (all around driving). and a bunch better gas mileage than the Ecoboost (13-20 mpg Ecoboost all around driving), and I love the new look of NOW in the new S550; Race Red auto, 3.55 rear, 20" wheel/tires, Steeda F/R sway bars, and a great overall car. Thank you, Ford

Cool

Sounds like you got yourself one really nice Mustang. I am partial to Race Red myself. I think a 2015 GT would be better choice than an Ecoboost or 2014 Mustang GT unless a SRA is desired.

I love my 15 Ecoboost convertible. For the same price as the GT base, I got the Ecoboost premium package convertible. It's enough power for me (but then again I am upgrading from 20 years in minivans with 2 sets of twins, now grown) The handling is great and the interior is an upgrade over the 14 especially in the premium package. The exterior is great on both cars. Also I'm getting 26mpg mixed and up to 32 on the freeway. Here in California where gas is closed to 4$/gallon that matters a bit.

Im not sure why this is still a questions. If you are just going to drive the car and do no mods hey the 2015 is fine. All of my new Mags about the mustangs you have to put thousands of dollars and a ton of work to make the car a competitive race car. if you want to Drag Race it will set you back even more. The IRS was installed in the 2015 for comfort nothing else. I am so so glad I have the 2014 GT.

But with all of that said I know there is a bunch of people that will buy there new Mustang and never mod it.

Take any stock non-2015 to an autocross and then drive the same course with an IRS Mustang and the difference is amazing. The IRS is modern (not a 50 year old distraction to those who don't drag race), and is a LOT more comfortable AND handles better too.
