Hey just curious how our cars will hang with an 03/04 Cobra. I know those cars are nuts. So how would we compete with a NON Pullied Cobra and then against a pully/exhaust/tune.

 

Shouldn't do bad at all. At least in a drag race. The 5.0's hook up pretty well. Racing from a roll, the terminator will probably get you but not by a whole lot. Wish I could tell you for sure but I'm not stock at all.

After that, those cars can put down some mean numbers.

Stock vs stock, both are high 12 second cars in the 1/4 mile. It all comes down to traction and driver skill.

 

I have to agree with the comments above. Stock vs. Stock, it's a driver's race.

After $500 worth of mods...at least the Terminators have those nice looking duck tail spoilers because that's about all we will see.

How about a 03/04 Cobra vs. a 2007-2009 GT500?

 

The Shelby wins. Stock for stock. Mod for mod. Only real difference is the initial price for the vehicle and I think the terminator is more fun to drive. IMO.

 

If you race from a 40mph roll, the Cobra will immediately put some distance between you (instant peak tq at the hit) and then should be marginally close.

Only problem I see with your question, is that there are not many stock around. My 04 Comp Orange had very basic mods: 2.93 upper, CAI, TUNE, MRT Catted H, Catback and put down 457/460 SAE.

Yeah a lot of people call them Termi or termy. I would rather just cobra but there is a difference.
