My parents are getting the new CTS sometime and my dad has been talking alot of crap saying that is 300 hp V6 will stomp my V8. i dont think it will, it weighs like 4000 pounds. any thoughts on that? not much of a post but hey, this section is dead.

 

the v8 will make its tq and hp quicker than the 6er you should beat him pretty easy......I think

No contest. Ask him how much Torque his 300hp V6 makes. Torque is the V8's dirty little secret that nobody talks about...but really, it is what wins the race...not the HP.

 

The DI v6 makes 272 lb ft so about 30 less with more mass. He shouldn't beat you but you won't crush him by 10 cars either so don't slip up. No mistakes and you should win.
